About Rail: North of the Border 2017

For the second year Rail: North of the...

For the second year Rail: North of the Border will again be taking place at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Glasgow, bringing together key people from across the sector to discuss the delivery of the many rail projects in Scotland. In continuing to build tomorrow’s railway, this platform will allow Network Rail, Virgin, Abellio and ScotRail Alliance to discuss key priority areas for Scotland, whilst ensuring the rail sector works closely with the supply chain to improve the day-to-day operation of the network and enhance it to meet future demand.

A key focus for discussion is the Scottish Government’s High Level Output Specification report, due to be released in July 2017. This will advise how government and industry can deliver the best outcomes for both customers and Scotland. The report will focus on ways to make the service more efficient whilst increasing capacity, and will look at improvement to existing stations, as well as the construction of new ones. With long term growth in passenger numbers, the railway is becoming key to Scotland’s economic prosperity and it’s vital that plans are in place to deliver a railway fit for the future.

This industry dinner allows you the opportunity to entertain clients and promote your organisation to the many decision makers in attendance. For more information about this event, or to book your place please call Martin Taylor on 07958 548675, or email team@peloton-events.co.uk.
