About Rail North: Leeds 2020

Black Tie Dinner

After 2019’s inaugural Rail: North black-tie dinner in Sheffield, and with the Rail: North Bradford conference on the horizon, we are excited to launch the third iteration of this north-based series of events.

Taking place on 11 June 2020, Rail: North Leeds will revolve around the socioeconomic benefits that regional transport across the north will bring to the West Yorkshire area and beyond.

At the heart of these changes will be Leeds. The economically thriving and culturally diverse city is set to lead the railway revolution up north: from Northern Powerhouse Rail (with the Manchester—Leeds route provisionally set to be funded by the government) to the TransPennine Upgrade and HS2, the bustling epicentre of the region will be the key to it all.

Join us at Rail: North Leeds to discuss how to get involved in these once-in-a-generation opportunities to build brand-new infrastructure designed around the needs of the vital communities that keep the wheels of the north turning.
