Matt Lipson leads Energy Systems Catapult’s team of Consumer Insight specialists. They use research and trials to help others design better energy policies, products and services. His team can find out what consumers want, design great experiences and test them in the real world.
They specialise in using the Living Lab to see beyond what people say to what they do, and models to relate their behaviour to the energy system. Over the last 20 years Matt has worked at the Department of Energy and Climate Change, the Energy Technologies Institute, the Committee on Climate Change and Orange.
