Heledd Morgan

Future Generations Commissioner for Wales' (Change Maker)

Heledd is one of the Future Generations Commissioner for Wales’ ‘Change Maker’ – a role that involves
advising and challenging the 44 public bodies, including Welsh Government, subject to the Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015.

Heledd has been working with the Commissioner since January 2017. Prior to this, she has gained experience in national and local government, joining the team as Public Services Partnerships Manager for Rhondda Cynon Taf Council.

Having worked on several different policy areas with many partner organisations, Heledd has long believed that there is a better way of doing things! She has sought to adopt different techniques for adapting organisational cultures and now assists people to develop their approach based on the sustainable development principle and the five ways of working set out by the Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act.

Although Heledd now lives in Cardiff with her partner and a retired racing greyhound, she is originally from Carmarthenshire and speaks Welsh fluently.
