Hayley Warrens

Hayley Warrens is the Climate Change Manager at Transport for Wales where she is responsible for the development and implementation of TfW’s strategies relating to climate change. Hayley is a qualified teacher and left to pursue a career as an Environmental Scientist, having gained Chartered Environmentalist status after three years in the industry. Hayley is a member of the Institution of Environmental Sciences and is passionate about ensuring that consideration of climate change is embedded into everything we do at TfW.

Hayley manages the Climate Change team at TfW and is the strategic lead for carbon management and climate risk and resilience and is an advocate for using an evidence-based and systems-thinking approach to inform deliverable outcomes. Hayley is TfW’s climate change subject matter expert and is the lead advisor to internal and external stakeholders on strategies aimed at minimising TfW’s vulnerability to climate risk and delivery of corporate carbon management targets.
