Esyllt Jones

As a Project Engineer, Esyllt is responsible for process and system development of new technologies, and she is passionate about supporting modal shift and connecting communities by providing new technologies to increase the reliability and availability of the railway. She is a valued member of the Siemens Mobility women’s network and is a vocal advocate for equality, diversity and inclusion in the rail industry to open up opportunities for a wider group of talent.

Esyllt came to Siemens Mobility as an Engineering Intern for 18 months before joining the graduate scheme where she completed placements in Digitalisation & Innovations, Bid Management and Control Systems, and spent a year working in the Wales & West delivery team. She is a native Welsh speaker, having been born and raised in Cwm Gwendraeth, and later went on to achieve her Master’s degree in Integrated Engineering at Cardiff University.
