Eleanor Wase

Eleanor is Head of Social Value & Equity, Diversity and Inclusion at Thales Ground Transportation Systems (GTS) in the UK. Her role involves developing and managing Social Impact, including Community Outreach and aligning outreach activities to industry skills gaps and increasing diversity. Eleanor joined Thales GTS in 2022, and being new to the railway industry, brought a fresh perspective on how to combat stereotypes and drive positive action within the industry. Amongst Eleanor’s achievements are gaining a Silver DDS accreditation for Thales GTS UK and taking internal Employee Resource Groups from strength to strength over the last year.
