Edward is the Director of the Civil Engineering Contractors Association (CECA) Wales. A Chartered Civil Engineer with over 30 years’ experience of delivering a broad range of technical services and policy development to a senior level across the public and private sectors in Wales.
In 2011 he was appointed by the Welsh Government to the Board of the Brecon Beacons National Park Authority and is currently Chair of the Board having previously served as Chair of the Planning and Rights of Way Committee. He is also a Trustee at a local charity for disabled children and adults and is the Chair of Keep Wales Tidy.
Edward was born and raised in Gwynedd and remains a partner in a family run farming business in the Snowdonia National Park. However, he has lived in Cardiff for the last 30 years with his wife and 3 children. He is a fluent Welsh speaker.
