Alan J Ross

As Director for Route Sponsorship, ScotRail Alliance, Alan has accountability for the safe, efficient and effective delivery of Rail Infrastructure Capital Investment Programme in Scotland.

He is a chartered electronic engineer holding a 1st class honours degree in Electronic engineering with a career spanning over 30 years. Alan has held a number of senior leadership roles across GB Heavy Rail Infrastructure sector ; infrastructure maintenance delivery, capital programme delivery, client engineering and most recently Director of Safety and Asset management in London and the South East before taking up his current position in October 2017.
