Ben Copson
Ben is a Policy Advisor at the Sustainable Energy Association (SEA) supporting the team in developing consultation responses, carrying out research and writing policy papers to champion the views of the SEA. Additional roles include advising and supporting members, collaborating with policy makers, and advocating for the development of net-zero buildings that are fit for the future.
Ben’s previous experience includes work in the charity sector, where as an intern at Thames Estuary Partnership he collated research, collaborated with stakeholders and upheld the protection of the River Thames. He has also worked as a Student Ambassador for Cardiff University, where he studied and has worked on a range of enriching part-time roles.
Ben graduated with BSc (Hons) in Environmental Geography from Cardiff University, where he studied the mechanisms of climate change, the physics and evolution of the natural world, past and present, and environmental policy.
