Emma Antrobus
Emma has been the North West Director of the Institution of Civil Engineers since July 2018, overseeing the activity and budgeting for more than 6500 members in the region. ICE has more than 95,000 members across the world in all sectors of engineering including transport, housing, development, energy and water. She won the Women in STEM award at the NW Inspire awards in 2019.
Having done a business with manufacturing degree, Emma has spent most of her career working with and supporting businesses in all sectors towards improvement and change, with a focus on the engagement with and understanding of policy focusing on infrastructure projects including rebuilding Manchester city centre following the 1996 bomb, Northern Hub and HS2.
She is a trustee of 2 Multi-Academy Trusts in Manchester overseeing the education of several thousand young people.
