Chris Beales

Chris Beales heads up Porterbrook’s Digital Engineering team and is responsible for the ownership and delivery of Digital strategy across a portfolio of approximately 4,000 rail assets.

Chris is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in delivering multiple reliability initiatives across rail operations. He specialises in unlocking and leveraging the power of data to help improve maintenance decision making.

Most recently Chris has been leading in the introduction of Remote Condition Monitoring (RCM) across several of Porterbrook’s fleets, delivering marked improvement in asset performance as well as driving efficiencies across the asset lifecycle
