Ciara Pollock

Ciara Pollock is a dedicated 4th-year apprentice with AtkinsRéalis, specialising in Overhead Line Equipment (OLE) Design within the Glasgow team. Initially pursuing a career in Nursing after leaving school, Ciara discovered a passion for engineering and is now in the final year of her BEng in Engineering Design & Manufacture. With aspirations to further her education, she aims to pursue an MSc in Engineering Management to deepen her expertise in the field.

Throughout her time at AtkinsRéalis, Ciara has gained extensive experience working on a diverse range of projects across the UK and internationally. Currently, she collaborates with CRSA to deliver the TransPennine Route Upgrade. Alongside her project responsibilities, Ciara is actively working towards completing her Electrification Diploma through the Permanent Way Institution, as well as aiming for Chartership with the Institute of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE).
